🔹 Job Profile
We are looking for a responsible, disciplined, and well-presented Housekeeping Staff member for a premium Gem & Jewellery showroom.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and housekeeping throughout the showroom, customer areas, office, and staff areas.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
✅ Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the jewellery showroom, reception area, display areas, office, and common areas.
✅ Regularly clean floors, glass surfaces, furniture, doors, windows, counters, and other showroom areas.
✅ Ensure the showroom is clean, fresh, and presentable before opening and throughout business hours.
✅ Take special care while cleaning around jewellery display counters, showcases, and premium customer areas.
✅ Clean washrooms and maintain proper hygiene and sanitation.
✅ Refill handwash, tissue paper, drinking water, and other housekeeping supplies as required.
✅ Dispose of waste properly and maintain proper segregation of waste.
✅ Support staff in maintaining cleanliness during customer visits and busy showroom hours.
✅ Immediately report any damage, leakage, breakage, maintenance issue, or safety concern to the concerned supervisor.
✅ Maintain housekeeping materials and cleaning equipment properly.
✅ Follow company policies relating to security, confidentiality, customer service, and workplace discipline.
✅ Maintain professional behaviour while interacting with customers, visitors, and showroom employees.
✅ Perform other housekeeping and support duties assigned by management.
🔹 Candidate Requirements
⌖ 1–3 years of experience in Housekeeping, Hospitality, Retail, Showroom, Hotel, Office, or similar environments.
⌖ Experience in a jewellery showroom, luxury retail outlet, hotel, premium showroom, or corporate office will be an added advantage.
⌖ Good personal hygiene and professional grooming.
⌖ Honest, trustworthy, punctual, and disciplined.
⌖ Able to work carefully in a premium jewellery showroom environment.
⌖ Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards.
⌖ Ability to follow instructions and maintain workplace discipline.
⌖ Good communication and polite behaviour.
⌖ Physically fit and comfortable with routine housekeeping activities.
⌖ Willingness to work retail shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
